How Physical Therapy Can Help

Repetitive activities, previous injuries, and compensated movements can lead to muscle tightness, joint restrictions, and impaired movement patterns Your body will move on the path of least resistance, completely avoiding those areas. While it may seem like a good solution, this ultimately leads to overuse and new complications.
Our mobile physiotherapists not only provide clients with fitness and wellness programs to improve mobility, but they also educate clients on how to manage their current condition so that they can maintain long-term health.
Overall, our goal is to help your body move better by reducing pain and increasing flexibility, strength, balance and coordination. Physiotherapy has been proven to not only impact your body, but also impact your mind throughout all aspects of life.

Treatment Techniques and Modalities such as

At Ultimate Care Physiotherapy and Massage Clinic there is a customized treatment plan for each of our clients to return them to their ultimate health and function. Therapeutic Massage can be used at different stages of our client’s treatment plan depending on their condition. For example it can be used to prepare the muscle for the exercises by relax the muscles and reduce the tension before the exercises and for the advancement to the next level of their exercise plan as it stimulates blood flow that will help the client to have the proper muscle condition for the next level of the exercises plan. Also, it may be used to relax sore muscles after doing their exercises.

Our massage therapists have several techniques that address many issues to help calm down the client’s nervous systems in the acute phase, then provide stabilization techniques midway through their treatment plan and stimulating techniques at the end of their treatment. Once a client has finished their treatment our therapist recommend a maintenance for clients with choric conditions which is once per month and if the massage therapist notice the recurrent of the client’s problem he will refer the client back to his specialized therapist and this will prevent the onset of another injury.

Mobile Massage therapist

Massage therapy is one of the oldest known healthcare practices, with references to it being found in ancient Egyptian temples from 4000 BC! Though it may be an ancient artform, the skillful and scientific manipulation of soft tissue is still used to this day to promote relaxation, releasing, healing, and overall wellness.

Through a combination of techniques including applying fixed or movable pressure, and holding or moving parts of the body, we can treat the muscular, skeletal, circulatory, lymphatic, nervous, and other body systems.

Mobile Exercise Therapist

Exercise therapy utilizes specific movements to improve body functions, focusing on moving the body in a way to relieve symptoms and improve mobility while preventing and managing pain.

It can take many different forms. For some clients, it’s simply spending more time moving and less time sitting. For others, it can involve biking, jogging, or lifting weights. Whatever the means, the goal is the same which is using physical activity to improve overall health and well-being.

Why Ultimate Care Physiotherapy and Massage Clinic?

Most people think that exercise therapy requires going to a gym which can be hard for those who have limited mobility and can be nearly impossible for anyone with a busy lifestyle. Ultimate Care Physiotherapy and Massage clinic has a mobile exercise therapists’ team that can bring exercise therapy to you.

Our goal is to offer our clients with a flexible service that fit to their unique lifestyle. Everyone has limiting factors in their lives, whether it’s a mobility issue or simply a lack of free time. Rather than working against these factors Ultimate Care Physiotherapy and Massage Clinic works with them and creates a mobile exercise therapy program that best suits your life.

Exercise therapy programs may include exercises to:

  • Maximize Physical Abilities plus gain or maintain mobility while living with a disability, or after confinement to a bed or wheelchair for an extended period.
  • Optimize Muscular Functioning for the treatment and recovery after an injury
  • Improve Physical Fitness to prepare for surgery, or help with recovery post-surgery
  • Improve General Health and Well-Being

Why Exercise Therapy?

Injuries can happen. Chronic conditions slowly emerge. Sometimes we simply move our bodies in ways that don’t quite feel right. An entire lifetime of this can cause some serious pain. A regular exercise therapy program can help with injury prevention and rehabilitation, as well as address any faulty movement patterns that can lead to pain and injury in the future.

Exercise therapy allows muscles to become more flexible, prevents muscle atrophy and deterioration, restores muscle strength, improves balance, and increases overall confidence in physical abilities. Research has shown that a therapeutic exercise program can treat a wide variety of conditions including back pain, arthritis, diabetes, osteoporosis, heart disease, or multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, and ALS.

Our team can help with:

  • Completing all the necessary paperwork

Your injury is complicated enough. Let our team help you navigate the process and paperwork Billing

  • Insurance paperwork can be overwhelming and even get in the way of using your benefits. Ultimate Care Physiotherapy and Massage Clinic is pleased to offer direct billing for most insurance providers in Canada, creating a much more enjoyable patient experience.
  • Treatments such as massage, physical therapy, Acupuncture, Occupational therapy and exercise therapy are often covered through extended health benefits. Each plan is different, so be sure to review your extended health benefit coverage before contacting us. We want to ensure the direct billing process is as quick, easy, and stress free as possible for our patients.
  • Note that not all insurance providers offer direct billing. In these cases, patients will need to pay for the service themselves, then submit an expense to the insurance provider for reimbursement.

How Does Direct Billing Work?

Many insurance providers have an online portal for companies like us to log in and bill directly. When you provide us with your insurance policy information, we can log in to determine whether your coverage will pay for our service. If your insurance provider does cover our services, we can use your insurance information to setup a profile and direct bill the insurance provider. This saves each client time and out of pocket expenses with using their extended health benefits.

Will I ever need to pay up front?

you may need to pay upfront for your first session with Ultimate Care Physiotherapy and massage Clinic. This happens occasionally depending on the insurance provider.

If your insurance policy only covers a portion of the treatment, then you are responsible to pay the difference. Not all insurance providers cover 100% of the cost for service.

If it is the first time using Direct Billing, insurance providers can sometimes block the first transaction as they want to make sure the payment is legitimate. In these, cases usually correct itself for subsequent service charges.
If you have exceeded the amount of benefit coverage provided to you then you will need to pay the remaining cost of your appointment. It is your responsibility to track the amount of benefits you have used in relation to the amount of coverage your insurance provider allows.
